Peter van Arkel is driven by the impact that integrated photonics can bring to society. He is the CTO of PhotonDelta, the integrated photonics industry accelerator in The Netherlands. In the past 7 years he worked as a consultant at Berenschot. During that period he wrote many grant proposals in integrated photonic technologies, analyzed innovation ecosystems, and was the roadmapping director of the Integrated Photonics Systems Roadmap – International (IPSR-I). Peter has a degree in Applied Physics and Management, and currently is part-time PhD candidate in innovation ecosystems at the Eindhoven University of Technology.
